The Sala Xemeneia (Chimney Room) is located in the west part of this floor. Its name is due to the impressive chimney which is located at one end of this room. We highlight its large hood formed by straight skirting which rests on a transversal beam with a 36 cm section. In this room, food was prepared for great feasts.
Behind this large fireplace, there was a domestic dome oven, where the daily meals were possibly prepared and served in the Noble rooms.
It conserves the original structure of a 16th century kitchen. This expanded room has currently become a multi-purpose space, fully prepared to host conferences, audio-visual projections and public events, and has also been equipped with the latest technologies.
